Mr. Yaw Sarpong holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree and BSc. Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (FCIMA) of the United Kingdom; Chartered Institute of Professional Financial Managers, USA, and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. Mr. Yaw Sarpong is a seasoned Consultant whose expertise spans various disciplines such as Accounting and Finance, Economics, Marketing etc.
He has lectured in Universities both in Ghana and outside and has held many responsible positions in Ghana including an Acting Director of Finance at the erstwhile GIHOC; the first Director of Corporate Planning at the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority; and a General Manager for Finance and Administration at the Ghana Food Distribution Corporation. Adept at reducing costs and providing strategic leadership that has enabled the rapid growth of start-up and major client companies especially in unstructured environments. An effective team leader and mentor, a creative systems thinker and problem solver who consistently identifies new business opportunities, whilst formulating and reporting strategic plans at main board level. Currently, he is the Director of Business Development Centre of the Central University College and has performed management consultant services in human capacity building for both government and private institutions in Ghana as well as training of the staff of clients. His area of expertise has involved management consultancy, project management, strategic Planning, Problem Solving, Business Development, Business Modeling, Team Leadership, Operation Improvement, Change Management, etc. Over the last three years, Mr. Sarpong has performed consultancy services with a team of consultants for many World Bank, IDA, DANIDA, etc sponsored projects. Mr. Yaw Sarpong is proactive, diligent, and focused leader who is always on the lookout for ways to enhance, optimize, or maximize systems, processes, and end products. With his effective analytical skills, he is able to identify inefficient procedures and implements methods to streamline operations and cut unnecessary costs. He is a consultant to the firm. He joined the firm in 1996 as Consultant.
